Middim

As told to the heroes by the Celestial Guardians
The origin of Middim is shrouded in mystery. Some say Middim was born from the gods of the sun and the moon, having the powers and weaknesses of both; being neither light nor darkness and being able to take on either form. As such he also appears in both male and female form. Some even say he was made from the leftover light and darkness when the universe was created. For eons Middim slept as the multiverse was created. When he awoke he found he was considered a lesser deity, not revered in any world, and marginalized by the more powerful gods. Middim found that his nature enabled him to take on the powers of a trickster. Desiring to prove his power and cunning to his peers, he would play ever more elaborate and increasingly disruptive pranks. However each prank and trick he played on the gods left him feeling emptier and without purpose. Over time, Middim became highly insolent; delighting in creating chaos on the various worlds. Many of his pranks over the countless centuries have caused long lasting and far reaching consequences on various worlds, even leading some to disaster and ruin. As such though not completely evil he is nonetheless considered an annoying enemy of the gods of creation and order.
